Scar
of the Sun is a new born band with only two years of existence.
Early this year, the band released their debut promo CD, which
included three tracks and almost twenty minutes of pure metal
music.
The
band followed a darker path with mid tempo and slow tracks
with more gothic, doom elements in their music. But the main
advantage of Scar of the Sun is the fact that they
have made a progress with their music, putting some modern
elements inside their songs.
Their
compositions are well developed with some very interesting
ideas and finally we have a mixture of gothic and doom metal
with touches from death metal and electronic music. Generally
the band expanded their music and didn't stay in the usual
frontiers.
So
the melodies are combined with the aggressive parts and the
mid tempo moments with some more fast parts of their songs.
Scar of the Sun offered us a very interesting opinion
of music and i recommend you to check their release.
