Screaming
Shadows comes from Italy and so far with this name the
band have only one album. They started back in 1997 using
a different name and released an album under that name.
Their
debut album with the Screaming Shadows moniker was
three years ago with their record "Behind the Mask".
Two months back the band released through My Graveyard
Productions their newest album titled "In the
name of God" and most of the tracks we can say have
a connection with the title, actually I figure that from the
track's titles, because I don't have the lyrics.
Musically
the band walks in the very successful, but with a lot of clichés
path, of heavy metal. So from the opening track to the last
one, you will hear all the elements that you want to hear
from a heavy metal release, a strong voice tracks which are
based on guitars and some times I can say that we can hear
the personal touch of the band.
Definitely
their work is really hard, but I believe at least they give
us an album that it is honest, because they simply did their
best with their performance and tracks like the "Where
reigns the sword", "The Holy Grail", and "Damned
Soul" which are really good.
