Two
years ago, if i am not mistaken, i received the album "The
Road Less Traveled" from Secret Smile. Now
the band has sent me their latest album with the title "Hurry
Up and Wait", which released a few weeks ago and
it has twelve songs and about fifty five minutes of pure rock
music. Sadly i don't remember how the band sounds in their
previous work but for sure in their newest work the guys really
ROCKS. The album begins with the very good track, in order
to open a rock album, "Tears in the sky"
which has an easy to remember chorus too. Generally their
compositions are well worked with interesting ideas inside
them. But last but not least this is a rock release. We know
what we want to hear from rock band and Secret Smile
give this to us with a little bit more complicated sound and
an interesting atmosphere from the keyboards that Ken
uses in this album. Of course because we have 2006 the band
has included spotted in the whole album some modern elements
just to be as fresh as possible for a new release.
