I
think the summer will be for the French metal / hardcore scene.
From Eternalis Records we received their latest release
which is the split CD from Sequoia and Liu Kang,
a French and an English band, respectively.
In
this album we will find four songs from Sequoia, a
band that plays a combination of hardcore and metal with really
extreme vocals. Actually the band has taken the finest moments
of hardcore and combined them with many elements from metal
music and finally adding their personal touch made for an
impressive result.
Now
to the side of Liu Kang, I can say that this band is
more in the brutal hardcore paths with less metal elements.
I'm no't saying that Liu Kang didn't include any well
written songs but personally I like stuff from Sequoia
better. I can say that they are closer to the things that
I like to listen to.
