Last
June Seventh Wonder had released their debut album
"Become" through Lion Music. One year
and two months later it was the perfect time to strike back
with their newest album "Waiting in the Wings"
which was released through the same label during August.
I
haven't had the chance so far to hear their debut work, but
from the things that I heard in their newest one, definitely
I will search to find their first album. Musically Seventh
Wonder walks in progressive metal paths, in the vein of
Dream Theater but this is only the start.
During
the whole album and generally within their well developed
compositions, you will hear also their personal sound and
various influences too. Their progressive metal is really
good, with some heavy guitars and a powerful young singer.
I
am sure that most of the fans of progressive metal will adore
the stuff from Seventh Wonder and it seems that we
will hear some really impressive stuff from this band in the
near future.
