Silky
is another Greek band that sent us their latest demo CD which
is titled "Closer to You". In this demo the
band includes five tracks and almost twenty minutes of a rock.
Ok, of course rock has many divisions and Silky had
chosen the more melodic paths with a touch of modern sound
too. Don't forget that modern rock is in vogue now and a lot
of bands want to have some elements from this kind of music.
But
Silky made a very clever movement and they didn't follow
some trends, they try to have simple tracks but in the same
time to be catchy ones and i believe they have achieve that.
The demo begins with the track "Closer to you",
a very melodic tune, with very good vocals too. Also Silky
adores the acoustic guitars and they have used them during
these five songs.
All
in all, i can say that Silky has some very easy listening
songs; i believe you can hear them every time during the day
and of course all the fans of melodic rock will adore the
stuff from Silky. Last but not least, i want to give
some congratulations for the whole artwork from this release.
