I
know Sinocence back from 2002 when they had send to
me their demo CD, after this it was in the middle of 2003
when they send to me their newest work and now after almost
two years i receive the debut album from Sinocence
with the title "Black Still Life Pose" which
released before some days through Copro Records
and it has twelve tracks. First of all as you can see the
band choose a very good cover for this album, at least i love
it when i saw it for first time. Musically the band walks
on the thin line of heavy metal and thrash metal. So basically
the band has the heavy metal as their main influence but also
as the album continues they have some other influences from
thrash metal for example. When you hear the songs you will
see that their compositions are well worked with interesting
ideas and i believe that the band combines the modern sound
and the fresh air with the old school elements and we have
this album as the result. For sure Sinocence give their
personal view for the heavy metal of nowadays and we must
respect for their work because simply they have done a very
professionally job. I think all we agree that after four demos
it was the time for the breakthrough to the mainstream scene
with their debut album. I wish i could have the final product
and not a CD-R in order to give you an idea for the whole
package.
