Sixtoys comes from Belgium and
they formed back in 1998. After some demo releases they released
their first official work two years ago. "Forbidden
War" is their sophomore album with eleven tracks
and more than thirty minutes of pure melodic punk rock music.
Another fact for this album is that
it was mastered at Westwestside Music by Alan Douches
(Silverstain). From the opening track the band
give us a straight picture of what we will hear in the next
songs. So with their well developed compositions Sixtoys
had offered us their finest moments of punk rock with dual
vocals, clean and extreme ones.
Even if I am not a huge fan of punk
music, Sixtoys was able to make me love their music,
through their metal elements and their melodies, some times
you forget that you're listening to a punk release.
