I
don't know how many of you know Darkseed, a
German gothic metal band, but their singer, Stefan Hertrich,
is behind this project. "Pulse" is the title
of their new album from SpiRitual.
In
this album we will find eight tracks and about forty five
minutes of a combination of gothic metal with folk and ethnic
elements. Maybe this combination seems strange but believe
me when you hear this album you will be stuck inside the music
that Stefan wrote.
Except
that we will have the chance to hear the former singer from
Haggard, Gaby Koss, behind the drum
kit is Maurizio, the drums of Darkseed
and also we will hear some guitar solos from Christian
Bystron (Megaherz), Rene Berthiaume
(Equilibrium) and Markus Glanz (Koyaanisqatsy).
Besides
that I must admit that Stefan had done an almost perfect
work for this album. It seems that every note inside this
album is for a reason. Also they found the perfect combination
of the extreme vocals with the melodic ones and the folk ones
too.
For
sure fans of Orphaned Land and Therion
will adore the stuff from SpiRitual. Just leave yourself
free and take part in the beautiful ride of SpiRitual.
