Stonecreep
comes from the United States and last year they released their
latest self financed work with the title "Tonight
We Ride". In this CD the band included four new songs
plus a demo version of an older one and they give us more
than half hour of pure metal music.
As
you can imagine most of the compositions from Stonecreep
are a little bit longer than usual so we will find tracks
with six, seven and even eight minutes long. The advantage
of writing longer songs is that it allows the band to make
more changes within the song.
So
while you hear the metalcore that mainly plays, you can also
hear a lot of thrash metal elements and some death metal ones
too. Most of their compositions are well worked with some
very impressive ideas.
Maybe
they might want to be more straight forward to the audience
and experiment with durations of three and four minutes, but
of course it is up to them. I hope soon they will release
something new in order to hear their progress.
