Last
year I had the chance to review many of the releases from
the back catalogue of Dwell Records. I knew that the
label sooner or later would start again to release new albums
and here it is the start with the Italians Stormcrow.
"Wounded
Skies" is the title of this release and the band
included five tracks and almost twenty minutes full of furious,
aggressive and raw black metal assault. After a melodic intro
the band unleashes their power and the hellish compositions.
With
"Dark Promises" Stormcrow begins their
unholy war with fast drum parts, vocals that came straight
from the depths of hell and a combination of Dark Funeral
and 1349 to take your head away for a sacrifice.
Of
course as a traditional black metal act forget here the melodies
and keyboards. Just guitars, bass, drums and black metal vocals.
For sure the fans of furious black metal will adore the stuff
from Stormcrow.
