Another
band from Germany we have here, this time is the turn of Stormgarde.
Early this year the band released their debut demo CD which
you can find four tracks. The band formed before five years
and their first live show was in 2001. Their biggest success
in the live shows, was in July, when they participate at the
"Fear of the Dong" festival (a.o.
Skyclad and Finntroll). Musically
Stormgarde walks in the melodic metal side but they
have a female singer, Sabrina, whose voice is really
good and charm, maybe you can say that the voice of Sabrina
isn't a metal voice but the whole band make the songs in order
to fit perfectly with her voice. In these four tracks the
band shows to us their music abilities and their compositions
are well worked with interesting ideas, for example you will
hear some male screams spotted in the whole CD. I know that
the band will work in their debut album and i am sure from
the things that i hear in this demo that we will have a very
good result but let's wait until they will release it. Well
done to the whole band.
