Last
year Straylight Run released their debut album which
it was a great surprise, imagine that they had sold more than
200,000 copies and it still sells a lot every week. "Prepare
to be wrong" is their latest EP which released in
the first days of October through Victory Records.
In this EP you will find six tracks plus three bonus tracks
from taken from their self titled debut album. Again this
release is in the side of the modern side of pop rock / punk
music. Actually Straylight Run makes a lot of experiments
with their music and the final result and they have also dual
male and female vocals. Their music structure is based on
guitars and keyboards and Michele and John are
the responsible for what we hear in this release. It is always
a good time to hear different types of music and i can say
that i like the stuff from Straylight Run. Actually
their music was better than i expected from their beginning.
They have their melodic times but also sometimes become aggressive.
Also the three tracks from their debut album are really good
and i am willing to hear their next full length album when
it will be ready. Definitely a quality release again from
Victory Records.
