I
think this month is for the Italian metal scene. One more
album from a band that comes from this country reaches our
door. This time was the turn for Synthphonia Suprema
and their debut album with the title "Synthphony 001".
In this album the band includes ten tracks and we have fifty
minutes of a combination of heavy metal with power metal stuff
and released through Rising Symphony Records early
this year.
Two
facts that we have from this album is the special guest Pier
Gonella (from Labyrinth) in the rhythm guitars
and the cover image by Ken Kelly (Manowar,
Kiss). Indeed the cover was really very good,
personally i love it from the first time, even if i misunderstood
and i expected to hear an epic metal band.
Anyway,
the compositions of Synthphonia Suprema were really
very interesting and at the same time was well developed.
Generally speaking much of their music was based around the
keyboards. Again in this album we will have the chance to
hear all the things that has a power metal release but with
a "space" atmosphere.
