Taedeat is a new born band but so far they have release two demo CD's and one album from 2003, their latest effort has the title "Quademortis" and there you can hear four new songs from them. Musically the band walks in the Swedish death metal paths, in the vein of the mighty Gods, At the Gates and The Crown. If you hear the stuff from Taedeat you will hear that they are pretty close to At the Gates but they need lots of hours with work and rehearsing. The compositions are well worked with some really interesting ideas but i think they must put more their personal sound in order to be more unique and not another band that plays pretty close to At the Gates. But in the other had the band has a lot of energy, aggressiveness and you can say that the vocals besides the death metal elements, sometimes you can hear them to be a little bit thrashy. To close this review, the production isn't the best that you can hear and personally i expected a better one from a band that has already released two demos and an album. The fans of Swedish Death metal should check them. I will wait for their second album in the near future.

SCORE out of 7/10 Antonis Maglaras
