Theatre
of Tragedy is one of the few bands that make the breakthrough
in the gothic rock / metal scene the combination of female
and male vocals. After some line up changes, a small change
with their music direction too, they strike back with their
newest album 'Storm' to continue the gothic rock /
metal paths.
The
album begins with the easiest track to remember "Storm"
and for the first time Nell give us their unique voice
together with Raymond to offer us another quality album.
It
is needless to say how Theatre of Tragedy sound, but
believe me it's worth the time that we wait to hear this album.
The band is more mature than ever, they have written some
really well developed compositions with very impressive ideas
and for all their fans they have leave the electronic sound
and they follow again the music that they made them well known.
Personally
I am in the side of every artist that want to express themselves
a little bit differently, actually this is the magic of music
but sometimes you need to look back in your roots. Maybe Theatre
of Tragedy made their perfect move; maybe not... only
the future will show us.
