Last
year i reviewed the previous work from Thyruz entitled
"Crucifixion Failure". Now the band has sent
me their newest work with the simple title "Blasphemy".
In this release the band includes five tracks and about twenty
two minutes of pure blasphemy black metal and don't forget
that Thyruz comes from Norway, the land of black metal.
So from the opening track the band give to us what we want
to hear, pure black metal, with faster guitar riffs, hellish
drum parts and a very good bass line. The compositions are
well worked with very interesting ideas of course always in
the black metal side. Also the production and the sound is
very good, at least you can hear all the instruments and you
can understand what the band plays. Another impressive thing
is the whole artwork which is satisfactory and the band did
a very good work in this section too. Personally it is one
of the few quality artworks in the self financed releases
that i have seen. Thyruz continues to move forward
with every release and i am sure that it is only a matter
of time before they are added to a label roster.
