Tungsten
comes from United States and actually they exist from
1985 but only in 1993 they achieve to release their debut
album. The band before two years had send to me their previous
album with the title "The Abuse" and now
they released "If Death doesn't change you nothing
will" an album which is dedicated in two persons
who died in 2002 and 2003. These two persons, was the father
of Al Hodge and if i am not mistaken the girlfriend
of Al. So definitely the past two years was a really hard
period of Al that's why the whole album is so emotional. The
music from Tungsten can described as groovy rock 'n
roll music, with catchy songs and well worked compositions.
The band has worked a lot and have put some really nice ideas
in their songs and we can say that when you are emotional
stressed you write music from your heart and this music has
honest. If you will hear carefully the stuff from Tungsten
you will see that they have used some doom metal tunes, don't
forget that Mark was technician in the Crowbars albums.
I am really pleased that i had the opportunity to hear the
new stuff from them.
