Another
Danish act release their debut full length album with the
title "Dead corner of the eye", i said debut
full length album, because so far they have released three
demo CDs, a 7" EP and their debut effort. First of all
we have the front cover of this release, which made by the
respected artist Dan Seagrave (Morbid
Angel, Suffocation, Entombed, Dismember). Usipian,
deliver to our ear a death metal holocaust, with eleven tracks
and almost fifty minutes of brutal, raw death metal in the
vein of the great Morbid Angel and Immolation.
The band also has shared the stage with acts like: Vader,
Mnemic, Limbonic Art and Aura Noir.
So Usipian, is a respected band with a very powerful
album and i think with this songs they can make the breakthrough
to the mainstream metal scene. Their compositions are well
worked with very interesting themes and nice ideas inside
their songs. Also Usipian has a massive production
and a very good sound for a death metal release and you have
the opportunity to hear clearly all the instruments. Just
hear the guitar solo in the second song and you will remember
my words.
