I've followed, musically, the band from their first period when they had a different name, I have all their releases and I knew that someday will do the breakthrough to the world. This year was in 2005 when they signed a deal with IntroMental management and after that a record deal with Sensory Records.

In the end of 2005 the new album was recorded in Greece and mixed in Jailhouse Studios, Denmark with producer Tommy Hansen (Helloween / Pretty Maids). This is the band's their third album which is titled "Self Exile", and they included eleven songs, more than fifty minutes of progressive / modern metal.

So sit back and after the small intro be prepared to enjoy another diamond from Wastefall. The band gives more than their 100% in this album and they did it. They achieved to make a step forward to have more mature and well worked compositions while they are full of emotions.

The band added some really impressive ideas, while their guitarist did an incredible job with remarkable and heavy guitar riffs. Finally the progressive metal meets the modern metal and through the prism of Wastefall we have this result. A perfect combination of the complex ideas of progressive metal and the aggressive and powerful moments of modern metal.

No more words, just take the ticket to the wonderful world of Wastefall and you will pleased that you took the time to find this great band. I hope they will continue to give us better and better works in every step.
