Winterhorde
comes from Israel and this is their debut demo CD with the
title "In Traditions of Winter", the band
also have one more release which is a live recording CD. If
i am not mistaken this period the band works in their debut
assault. Musically the band walks in melodic and atmospheric
black metal paths with some folklore music elements. Their
main influence at least for the melodic black metal side is
Dimmu Borgir but also Winterhorde have
used their personal sound inside their songs. Their compositions
are interesting and well worked, even if they could be better
but i think it will be a matter of time to have a more personal
sound. The vocals are mainly black metal ones, with fast drum
parts and fast guitars, also all these are combined with many
melodies. In their debut album, i will expect from them to
be more unique and more creative. So far they are in a good
root but if they don't work harder then they will be another
melodic black metal band from the row.
