I am not used to hearing doom metal bands from United States but Wraith of the Ropes is a different situation. Here with the help from Totalrust music released their debut album with the title "Ada" and they include six tracks and almost a one hour of music. Definitely first you will see the interesting cover and the naked female model but believe me YOU will be the naked after you will finish the listening of this album. The label describe their music as horror metal and you can say that yes maybe it is horror metal but mainly we have elements from funeral doom with dark metal elements and atmospheric influences. Most of the compositions are from nine minutes to twelve and the band gives more than their 100% while they play these tracks. In additions their compositions are well worked with interesting ideas and they are really slow and mid tempo some times while the vocals comes straight from hell with a lot of distortion. Generally you will need to have a lot of patience to understand the music from Wraith of the Ropes but in the end you will rewarded by their very good piece of music and i am really interested how they will progress after this step.

SCORE out of 8.4/10 Antonis Maglaras
