I
follow Zenith from their previous works and when I
received their debut self financed album I was really happy
for them. "Evilution" is the title that they
chose for this release and they had include eight tracks and
more than fifty minutes of progressive death metal with a
lot of modern elements.
From
the opening track the band gives us a punch in the face with
their powerful, aggressive and raw start of their album. Honestly
I didn't expect such energy from their opening track.
So
be prepared to feel all the unleashed power of Zenith
while you do endless head banging. As I wrote above musically
the band walks in the extreme side of metal and more specific
in the progressive moments from death metal with a lot of
modern elements from hardcore for example.
Imagine
the craziness of Meshuggah and you will have
a small picture in your mind for the music direction of Zenith.
I have heard this album more than three times and I have still
the same question, why bands like them don't have a label?
Sad but true some times you need to have better connections
than music. My respect to Zenith.
